Mum will be missed by myself spouse and children. I was glad I was there today. Happy she was with God, but sad she was no longer with us in the flesh. Although she will always be with me in spirit. It would have been nice to be acknowledged as her son, as well as my two sisters. But this day was about Mum not about me. I remember as a child smelling the home cooked apple pies she had baked. She was a great cook. I remember not too long ago taking Mum out for lunch Fish & Chips were one of here favourites remember stopping by Remark and picking up some rolls and meat and a fresh tomato. Take it over to Mums while she brewed a strong cup of Tea. We both love tea. Mum always made the rolls for us both. We could sit and chin wag for hours. Boots Mum’s cat used to sit there waiting for his share. We never had the traditional relationship you would think of with a mother and son. But never the less I loved her dearly and I know she loved me. The Lord can take away mum but he will never take away the special times we spent together, having a laugh. I sure could make Mum laugh. What great medicine laughter is. So god Bless you Mum.
Say Hello to Dad for me when you arrive in Heaven.
Love Always Your Son Tommy
