HOFER, Margot…..
Surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, September 30, 2010, Margot (Fischer) Hofer of London in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Siegfried “Siggie” I. W. Hofer for 60 years. Loving mother of Gabriele Hofer and Christine Findlater and her husband Stewart. Predeceased by her daughter Gisela. Cherished Oma of Cameron and Ainsley Findlater. Dear sister of Waltraud Frost of Germany. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bethlehem Chapter 136. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Margot’s life will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11:00 am at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1 Frank Place, London, with Reverend Ed Bastian. Private family interment in Dorchester Cemetery, Dorchester, Ontario. An Eastern Star service will be held at the church on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:45 am. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children, 468 Colborne Street, London ON N6B 2T3. Online condolences accepted at www.amgfh.com
