Aunt Irene and Family, I know your hearts are aching over the loss of Uncle Ralph. Mine is too. He was such a kind soul; quick with a grin and eyes always twinkling. He will be missed. I love you.

We were so sadden to hear of Ralph’s passing. In our hearts we hold great memories of summer days at your cottage. You so kindly invited our family to spend time there when our kids were just little and we enjoyed each and every minute. And best of all we got to know Doug’s parents and where Doug gets his manerisms from. Thanks for the memories, he was a great kind man.

Dear Irene and Family
Sorry, we missed the notification in the paper. Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Ralph. Linda will remember Ralph as the gentle man who worked with her at IBM–with the odd introductory line of “You and I are cousins (long pause)–by marriage.” I am sure that Bea has made him feel welcome and is with you in your time of sorrow.
We have moved back to London and when you are up to it, please call.
Thinking of you.
