To the entire Gonyou Family,
I wish to express my sincere condolences to you all upon the loss of your dear Dad/Brother/Grandfather. I particularly enjoyed his terrific sense of humour and fun. He always made our Grandma laugh and smile and she clearly adored him. She will feel his loss deeply as well. May you enjoy and celebrate your fond memories of him forever and cherish a life well-lived. Our thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Suzanne Glasgow/Florine’s grand-daughter.
Sorry to hear of your loss. I was a neighbour many years ago of Rev. Newkirk and his family on St. James Street in London. I believe they moved to California. Mary Jane Newkirk was my childhood friend. She had a younger brother Paul. Through the Newkirks I knew of the Gonyou family. If anyone still keeps in touch with Rev. Newkirk’s family, give them my sincere condolances in the loss of their relative at this time and let them know that I still think of them.
Sincerely, Jan
Joan, Keith and Ron,
I always appreciated your father’s quiet demeanour, his sense of humour and steadfast faith. I know my parents enjoyed the times they spent with both your father and mother. Two lives well lived and to be fondly remembered.
My condolences on your loss.
Harold Gonyou
“A life well lived” — indeed! To me, at various times of my life, Gordon was my Sunday School teacher, an example of a Godly life, an encourager, an advisor and, always, a good friend. What a joy it was to work with his grandson at Youth for Christ, and to see Gordon’s Godly influence extend to the third generation. May you find great joy in this time of sorrow, knowing that he has now with the Lord he so evidently loved throughout his life. God bless you!
Dear Pastor Keith and Lois:

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as well as the rest of the Gonyou family…we have many fond memories of you and the stories you would tell from the pulpit of your dad and mom…Hope all is well with you in the West coast.
Sincerely Gary and Lauren
