THOMSON, Audrey….
Peacefully passed away at McCormick Home, on Monday, May 3, 2010, Audrey (Saunders) Thomson of London in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late F. Howard Thomson (2007). Loving mother of Eric Howard Thomson and his wife Donna of London. Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Mike), Trevor (Tasha) and Marshall (Lindsey). Proud great-grandmother of Tate. Predeceased by her sisters Vera Seage, Olive Wilson, Dorothy Rhame and her brother Ronald Saunders. Audrey was a life long resident of Emery Street East and loved spending her summers at the cottage on Lake Huron. She was a devoted wife and mother and had a very special place in her heart for all her pets and her music. The family would like to thank all the nurses, staff and volunteers at McCormick Home, especially on Willow Ridge for the wonderful care that they have given her over the many years. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service (12:00 – 1:00 pm) at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm, with Reverend Teresa Corrigan Officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the McCormick Home Foundation, 2022 Kains Road, London ON N6K 0A8 or the charity of your choice.
