Morley has been an inspiration to many of us for a long time. He was the truly “Mister Mason” in the whole sense of the words and he will be sadly missed.
Sweet dreams, my dear btother.
In our lives we are truly blessed if we meet a person with unbounded optimism, a great sense of humour, a warm and friendly smile, and who extends the firm and steady hand of brotherhood. I know I was blessed to know Morley and Gladys, to be able call Morley my “brother”, and to learn about his incredible courage and perseverance in serving on the HMCS Weyburn and surviving when it was sunk. He was a fine gentleman, and you have my sincerest condolences on your loss.

Hi Morley jr. Thinking of you in your time of loss.
Dear Morley,
I just heard about the loss of your Dad and my heart goes out to you. I have so many wonderful memories of him and I had hoped to visit with him on my next trip home. He was a good man and I am honoured to have known him.

Please accept my condolences on behalf of the “Marshall”family. I have many lovely memories of visits with Morley and Gladys at the house on Oxford street, with my Grandmother (Hughena) and my parents. Morley always had some fun up his sleeve and kept us busy while the ladies visited. My Mom (Sheila) passed away in January and with the passing of first your Mom and now your Dad I feel like another little bright spot in the world is gone. Take care.
My deepest sympathy to Morley’s family, from his neighbour at Meneset. I enjoyed meeting both Morley and Gladys when they were still well enough to come up to “the cottage!” Their cedar shrubs will now have an extra-treasured place in their memory in front of my house. Henry and Ida Hartman gave me the funeral notice from the London Free Press, so I appreciated hearing your sad news. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Sandra
I wish to express condolences to the family of Mr. Morley Haynes from the staff and students of Aberdeen Public School. As a former graduate of Aberdeen, Mr. Haynes has generously supported students as they have graduated over the past 12 years. He was proud of his association with Aberdeen and his visits were always enjoyed by those he met here. He always had a story to tell about the times he attended Aberdeen.
So sorry about the passing of a great man.But he will be in the kingdom of heaven with my mother(LENORA)and his other sisters.GOD BLESS YOU.
Morley:

Paul and I send our deepest

family at the death of his Dad
We have many happy memories of
both Gladys and Morley
We are sad to hear of Morley, Sr’s passing but reflect on a wonderful life of service to his country, community and family. We loved to visit the Haynes’ in their cute little bungalow on Oxford Street. Morley was a great story-teller with a ready smile and keen sense of humour. We will remember him fondly as we do Gladys. God bless them both and their legacy of love. Best wishes, Morley – Sue & Gary (Barrie); Herb & Ellen (Gravenhurst)
Dear Morley Jr and Family: We are saddened to learn of Morley Senior’s passing and would like you to know that the extended Walker family is thinking of you. We have many happy memories of the times that Morley and Glady would visit my parents, John and Marg (with Morley Jr of course)and their family at the cottage near Bracebridge. Morley was a great story teller and Glady and Morley together were a great role model of long and caring marriage. My parents truly valued their friendship. Please accept our belated condolences.
Barbara Walker-Renshaw, on behalf of Margaret Walker and her family.
