At Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Betty Louise “Betty-Lou” (Nottage) Potter-Gill in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of H. Rae Gill. Dear mother of Bonnie Kelly and her husband Patrick. Loved grandmother of Madison and Nicole Kelly. Dear step-mother of Gary, Scott, Lori-Ann and Mary-Lynn. Betty-Lou was a teacher at Princess Elizabeth Public School from 1957-1965, Knollwood Public School from 1974-1978 and Hillcrest Public School from 1980-1997. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the World Vision Canada, 1 World Drive, Mississauga, ON L5T 2Y4 or the Lung Association, 480 Egerton Street, London, ON N5W 3Z6 would be appreciated. Heaven has gained an angel today. I will always remember Betty-Lou’s beautiful face and the way she always looked fabulous even when she didn’t feel well. I was proud to be called her adopted “little sis”.

Betty-Lou was a special lady. She was patient, caring and compassionate. She guided me through my childhood and taught me many life lessons. She raised a beautiful daughter who I call “sister”. Thank you for everthing Betty-Lou. You will be greatly missed.
