Sandy,Karen,Jim and Andy,
Just wanted you to know that as we were growing up,it was obvious that Mom always felt as close to your mom as she did her brother and we thought that was pretty special. Auntie Mel never criticized, always put a positive spin on difficult situations and placed her family above all else. We will all be with you on Saturday in spirit and find true joy in all that she has taught us through example over the years. We were fortunate enough to have her in our lives and we will miss her very much.
My thoughts and prayers to the family as you mourn Melva’s loss and celebrate a life well-lived. Special thoughts for Karen Shuttleworth and Sara Cameron.
Our deepest sympathy on Mel’s passing. We shared many great visits and conversations when I was her district visitor and I have missed those visits. Mel was a real inspiration to me as she always had a smile no matter how she was feeling with her back. I know her family was her greatest joy and I hope your memories will comfort you in the days ahead.
Dear Sandy,
Our hearts go out to you and your family during this very difficult time. May your memories bring you comfort and help heal your broken hearts. You are in our thoughts and prays.
Andrew,

Melva was a gracious lady with a wonderful smile and always a kind and encouraging word. I will always remember her coming into church on Sunday mornings and her warm welcoming smile always greeting us. She will be missed by many of us from her church family at Wesley-Knox.

Dear San, Karen, Jim & Andy,
I was truly bless to have Auntie Mel in my life, She had the ability to make you feel that you were the most special person she knew. I had a lovely dream about her the other night. We were all in the back yard having a “wedding” and she was serving us cookies and lemonade and smiling her great smile. I will miss her forever. Love to all of you. Cousin Sharon
Dear Andrew, Melanie, Mae, Kendra,

May she rest in peace.

To Karen and all the Coulson family. I am in England right now and have only just learned of your Mum’s passing.I am very, very sorry, she was a beautiful lady and she meant so much to me. I will never forget her wonderful smile and her refusal to complain about her adversities – it was an honour to have known her. Requiescient in Pace
I would like to express my deepest sympathy regarding your loss. I can truly understand how it feels to loose a loved one in death. These must undoubtedly be some very hard times for your family. In such times, it is very difficult to find comfort, considering the harsh world that we live in. In my case, and in the case of many, we can always find comfort in God’s Word the Bible. For example we find God’s promise to all mourning ones in Isaiah 61:2,3. I hope this brings comfort to you and your family.
