Thinking of you all at this sad time and hoping you will remember the happy times we all shared.
Marg, Kim and Maureen
I went to school with Mary in Byron, then through highschool and on into university days. We were classmates and school chums back in the days when Byron was very small. I lost touch with Mary around the time of her first marriage, but ran into her many years ago downtown where we had a brief chat. I recall many happy times when we were little kids, playing at the Pickles home, with Mary and me sitting on the wall of the Cobblestone Inn near their house, counting cars and waving at the passersby. My mother still lives in Byron although I have been away from the London area for many years. I was very saddened to know the news of Mary’s death from my Mom. Thinking of Mary and the happy times of our childhood evoked many happy memories of days long gone, and I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to her family. Recently while doing some sorting of old photos, I found our Grade 8 graduation group picture and wondered what had become of all of us. I remember Mary as a very pretty, talented and happy girl who was an excellent student and lots of fun to be with. I am very sorry for your family’s loss.
